Last fall, we visited the set of Defiance in Toronto, and as we count down to tomorrow night’s Season 2 premiere, here’s an on-set video interview with Jesse Rath!
In the clip below, Jesse chats with us about:
- Alak’s expanded role in the second season
- how being immersed in the world of Defiance helps with his performance
- his character was trying to be an assimilated human in Season 1, but Season 2 is about him embracing his Castithan side. In stepping into his father’s shoes, he realizes that his mother is the one pulling the strings
- the darker tone in Season 2. We will see old characters in new situations, and meet some interesting new characters.
Season 2 of Defiance premieres on Thursday June 19th at 8/7c on Syfy, and at 10pm ET/PT on Showcase in Canada.
