Season 2 of The Originals begins tonight, and during San Diego Comic-Con, we spoke with Danielle Campbell (Davina) about the excitement in store for her this season. Watch the full clip below, but first, here are some highlights:
- Davina has grown up a lot and is stronger. She is no longer with her coven, and is attempting to reclaim herself, including a return to school. She plans to get revenge on Klaus.
- She will become smitten with a new bad boy, Caleb. Campbell was not allowed to say if Caleb is human or not.
- Davina and Josh are still best friends, and he is one of the few people that she trusts.
- Although Davina is not part of the coven, they can’t deny she is one of the most powerful witches.
- A big thing for Davina is learning how to better use her magic and control it so that she’s not overpowered by it.
- Marcel continues to be a big brother/father figure to Davina. If he asked for a favor, she would probably help, albeit cautiously.
