As LJ Smith fans anxiously await news of a pilot for The Secret Circle, The CW has brought in the big guns – Kevin Williamson!
Eariler today, Deadline Hollywood reported:
Williamson has come onboard another CW drama project, Secret Circle, which is based on a three-book series from The Vampire Diaries author L.J. Smith … Williamson is now working on the script and serving as an executive producer on the project, which, with its auspices, has emerged as a strong contender for a pilot pickup.
Vampire Diaries fans have witnessed the magic that Williamson and Julie Plec have created from LJ Smith’s written works, and there is no one I’d rather see bring The Secret Circle to life on the small screen! Now CW, about getting Plec on board …
Who else hopes lightning strikes twice for Williamson, and The Secret Circle makes it to The CW’s fall lineup?
