[Warning: General spoilers ahead.]
This week, on the next-to-last Season 1 episode of Pretty Hard Cases, Sam and Duff end up taking a bit of a road trip when they decide to chase down Tiggy. That puts Duff on a crash course for a reunion she’d rather avoid with a New York detective (Amanda Brugel).
Sam’s trust in Elliott is tested when he’s less than truthful, and apparently adept at deceiving his dad, too. He and Jackie settle in making molly and discover that Nelson might not actually be the patsy he seems to be.
Naz finds out the hard way that his own trust in and alliance with his partner comes with some painful side effects, which he only confides the truth of to Sam.
Tiggy winds up in a few uncomfortable situations, first as the very awkward house guest at Bill’s condo and later when she tries to get back home. And Layna’s finally had enough of Tiggy’s bullshit that she weighs her options after being forced to co-opt her nephew.
Winnifred Jong directs a script by Jillian Locke and Jennifer Whalen.
