Nikita‘s final season kicks off tonight at 9/8c on The CW, and our Nikita takeover continues with this SDCC clip from the Nikita press room featuring Lyndsy Fonseca. The full video is below, but first, a few highlights:
- Lyndsy discusses Alex’s new “day job” with the UN, and the journey her character has taken since the series began
- Alex is the one person on this team that can be out in public and there’s a large sense of responsibility that goes along with her name
- Lyndsy feels blessed that they knew the series was ending going into the season, and thinks that it’s awesome that they get to wrap this story
- unlike some of her castmates, she actually wants her character to have a happy ending when the series concludes
- much of this season will be spent trying to get Nikita back with her “family.”
