Lost Girl fans have a lot to be excited about in addition to the pick up by Syfy in the US.
Season Two, which begins on September 4th on Canadian network Showcase, has now been given an order for nine more episodes, bringing it up to 22 from the original 13 ordered! Back on June 25th, star Kris Holden-Ried (Dyson) alluded to it on Twitter – which had fans rejoicing – but he then rescinded it saying that 22 episodes was not confirmed. Much to the delight of fans, his original tweet was true!
In addition to the anticipation for a now-extended Season Two, a Lost Girl panel was announced last week for San Diego Comic-Con! Taking place on Friday, July 22nd at 7:30pm in Room 24 ABC, the panel features Anna Silk (Bo), Emmanuelle Vaugier (The Morrigan), Executive Producer Jay Firestone, and Series Creator Michelle Lovretta (who is also a producer on The Secret Circle). Fans that are lucky enough to attend will receive a limited edition of the Lost Girl comic book which is a prequel to the series. We’re working on getting coverage of the panel and will keep you posted.
