During Pivot’s TCA 2014 session, the network announced that hotly anticipated Joseph Gordon-Levitt variety series, HITRECORD ON TV, has already been given the green light for a second season before the first season’s official season premiere!
As a member of the RECord community, I was curious to know if there would be an opportunity to take HITRECORD ON TV on the road, much like some of the awesome live dates that have taken place with the hitRECord community in a number of cities. So I asked Joseph Gordon-Levitt about his plans, and he shared that it is definitely a goal for him with the TV series. Logistically, it was not possible in the first season, but now that they have a definite second season, it is something that he wants to pursue. He mentioned that taking the TV series to venues in other cities has always been part of his vision, which pleases this RECorder to no end!
The first season includes an array of guests including Elle Fanning, Scarlett Johansson and Tony Danza. In fact, you can watch the first episode right here, right now!

HITRECORD ON TV kicks off January 18th at 10PM ET/PT on Pivot. Pre-production on the second season has not been scheduled as of yet.
