AMC Releases a New Trailer for its Revolutionary War Spy Drama, Turn

As part of AMC’s presentation at TCA 2014, they’ve released a trailer for their upcoming new dramatic series, Turn, which is set to premiere on Sunday, April 6 at 9pm ET.

If you haven’t heard about Turn yet, it’s described as a “layered, character-driven spy thriller set during the American Revolutionary War,” based on information featured in Alexander Rose’s book, Washington’s Spies. The story centers on Abe Woodhull (Jamie Bell), a farmer who lives behind enemy lines in British-occupied Long Island. He teams up with some childhood friends to form The Culper Ring, “an unlikely team of secret agents who would help turn the tide of the war in favor of the Rebels.”

My interest has been piqued for this one mainly because Nikita showrunner Craig Silverstein is at the helm, and I really like how he approaches spy series.

Have a look at this trailer and let us know in the comments if you’re planning to check this one out!
