Bones is Back!

Good news, squints! Bones returns from hiatus tomorrow with an all-new episode called “The Body in the Bag”. According to the official description, the team will investigate a body “discovered in the shower of an upscale home belonging to a young female socialite.” Fancy! But aside from the murder of the week, we’re hoping we get answers to some questions left dangling in that last intense episode in December. How is Brennan recovering from the case that so badly messed with her mind? Will there be there any fallout from her declaration of love for Booth? And is Booth really going to tell Hannah about Brennan’s feelings? What then? Tune in to FOX at the new time of 9/8c to find out.

In other Bones news, the first casting decision for the upcoming spinoff has been reported: Michael Clarke Duncan of The Green Mile will play Leo, the “cowboy philosopher” partner of main character Walter Sherman, a “former military policeman who can find anything.” How exactly Walter and Leo are connected to our buddies at the Jeffersonian remains a little fuzzy, but we’ll reportedly find out in episode nineteen of this season of Bones. I’ll admit that I’m not totally sold on the premise of the spinoff yet, but I’ll certainly tune in and give it a chance. Will you?
