[Warning: General spoilers ahead.]
After leaving off last week’s Pure with a blood-spattered Abel and Noah when their negotiation attempt with the bikers went very, very wrong, this week they dig in their heels in an attempt to extricate themselves as soon as possible from Eli’s grip.
This involves Noah embracing more of the outsider ways than he’d like and thinking outside (or inside, as it happens) the box about how to deal with two more bodies.
Bronco is eager to help, in so small part because he realizes that he’s not wrong in suspecting a mole within his own department. While he still can’t quite help himself from taunting Noah about his past with Anna, he still has good intentions in putting his own ass on the line. He also has to make nice with his DEA liaison and level with her about what he does and doesn’t have a handle on.
His son, meanwhile, completely misreads Tina’s friendship when she reacts impulsively about his dad’s investigation.
Pure airs Mondays at 9 pm E on CBC. Here’s a sneak peek of “Funeral.” Updated 2/13/19 — WGN America is airing Season 1 in the U.S. at 10 pm ET on Wednesdays. If you’ve missed an episode, they’re online now at WGN America’s website.
