The theme music on Frankie Drake Mysteries is one of the things that makes the series so fun, and the show has teamed up with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra (TSO) in a musical sensation for the ears. Frankie Drake Mysteries: Music at Midnight will be streaming this Tuesday on Facebook and YouTube.
A partnership between the series’ production company, Shaftesbury, and the TSO, the initiative pairs vocal performances by series stars Chantel Riley and Sharron Matthews with TSO musicians conducted by Rob Carli (who composes the music for Frankie Drake Mysteries and Murdoch Mysteries).
It’s a wonderful mashup that brings TSO music back to the city, and beyond, and supports artists who’ve been impacted by the pandemic. The special was filmed on the show’s set in Toronto as the cast and crew were wrapping their third season.
Frankie Drake Mysteries: Music at Midnight drops Tuesday, February 23rd, at 3 pm ET on the Frankie Drake Mysteries Facebook page and the Shaftesbury YouTube Channel.
