[Warning: General spoilers ahead.]

New episode ahoy, mateys! (That’ll make sense later). Wednesday on the next new Pretty Hard Cases, Sam and Kelly are on different tracks as the team gets closer to the coyotes.

But first, Kelly has some life choices to ponder, courtesy of Len, and then she’s looking for signs from the universe. And when she gets them, she’s not sure how to read them. On the case front, Nate brings Naz in on his UC with sketchy realtor Will French (for a Miami Vice-inspired lunch) and Naz breaks out “Scarborough Stu” and runs with it.

That means securing a boat (hence the title), which Sam conveniently knows how to drive and Naz finds himself a little hot for teacher.

Nate’s own romance gets a test when Gabrielle returns to work and he learns something new about her past. Gabrielle’s new assignment intersects with Elliot’s commitment to be part of a teen program with the police as part of a quid pro quo with Sam.

Jackie, meanwhile, is doing everything she can to stay on the side of right but Crystal’s latest predicament tests that resolve. And we get another Rookie Blue/Mary Kills People alumnus dropping in when Charlotte Sullivan begins her arc as party girl Adeline.
