IFC’s oh-so-funny sketch comedy series Portlandia returns on January 6th, and we’ve got a couple of sneak peeks for you!
If you’ve never seen Portlandia, do yourself a favour and watch an episode or two – especially if you enjoy poking fun at hipsters. It stars SNL‘s Fred Armisen and rocker/actor/superwoman Carrie Brownstein (who are also the creators and writers), and is exec produced by Lorne Michaels. In it, Brownstein, Armisen, and some rather impressive guest stars portray an array of colourful characters in Portland, Oregon.
Now, I can totally relate to this first clip … not to the extremes that they go, but as someone who has proudly marathoned a TV series or two, including Battlestar Galactica, this had me giggling like a fool!
And in this clip, Carrie and Fred try to outrun the DJ apocalypse!
