In tonight’s episode of Outlander, “The False Bride,” Jamie and Claire decide against a life at River Run. In 1970, Roger and Brianna are reunited in the United States.
Following the events at River Run in last week’s episode, Jamie declines his Aunt Jocasta’s generous gift. While Aunt Jo has only kind words for her nephew — plus some special trinkets that belonged to his mother — she is much more harsh with Claire.
In 1970, Roger is heading to America to see Brianna. They head out together on a road trip to a Scottish festival in North Carolina, and learn that they may not be on the same page when it comes to their relationship.
Claire and Jamie venture into the wilderness in search of a new home where they can build a life of their choosing. There’s no amount of wealth that will make them compromise their values.
