Lost Girl S4 Countdown: Ksenia Solo at SDCC 2013

There ain’t no party like a Lost Girl countdown party, and the celebration continues until Sunday night’s Season 4 premiere!

This exciting clip from the Lost Girl press room at San Diego Comic-Con features Ksenia Solo, who had some awesome tidbits to share with us about Kenzi and the upcoming season.

Be sure to watch the full video below, but here are some highlights:

  • Ksenia reflects on her character’s journey in previous seasons
  • she teases where we find Kenzi at the start of Season 4, and says Kenzi is “more lost than she’s ever been.” Some things that were OK in the past aren’t good enough any more. This season, Kenzi is trying to fit into the Fae world and be respected
  • there is a different dynamic at the start of Season 4 because Bo isn’t there
  • we’ll see where the incident at the Norn’s in Season 2 leads, and it may be different from what fans are expecting
  • Kenzi continues her internal struggle as to whether or not she should be Fae. Kenzi can’t fully protect her friends and wants to be able to do so
  • there will be many unexpected surprises in the love dept this season, especially for Kenzi
  • there’s more Vex this season which means even more Vex / Kenzi fun
  • there are a few action sequences coming up that Ksenia says will surprise viewers. She mentions that they were “scared to death” and there were some injuries along the way, but they got through it and thinks fans will be pleased
  • Ksenia shared that has taken on some of Kenzi’s humour and thinks that the series has really helped her develop her comedic talents.

Watch the Season 4 premiere of Lost Girl, this Sunday at its new time, 10pm ET/PT only on Showcase!
