Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent Announces Cast

Well, my wish list is zero for eight, but the cast announcement this morning for the upcoming Toronto-themed Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent  is chock full of familiar Canadian television faces. A psychological thriller wrapped in a criminal investigation, the series follows two elite detectives from the Specialized Criminal Investigations unit as they investigate high-profile crimes and homicides in metro Toronto and is currently filming its 10-episode season in Toronto.

Fronting the series are Rectify‘s Aden Young and Kathleen Munroe (Patriot and way back there, Alphas) as the lead detectives, Detective Sergeant Henry Graff and Frankie Bateman. Karen Robinson, who we just saw in the top cop job over on Cameron Pictures’ Pretty Hard Cases, is Inspector Vivienne Holness. Forensic Pathologist Dr. Lucy Da Silva will be played by Nicola Correia-Damude (Coroner, Resident Alien), and rounding out the Law portion is Araya Mengesha (Nobody, Anne with an E) as tech expert Mark Yohannes. Lost Girl‘s K.C. Collins is the Order part of the series as Deputy Crown Attorney Theo Forrester.
