Last week, Defiance made its debut, introducing us to an exciting new world and some fascinating characters. If you haven’t seen it yet, I think it’s definitely worth checking out, whether you are a sci-fi fan or not. While the setting is a futuristic earth post alien invasion and terraforming, it is really more of an immigrant story – think Copper or Gangs of New York rather than Battlestar Galactica.
You may recall that we visited the Toronto set of Defiance last fall, but we were also lucky enough to take part in a press junket the week before the premiere – and here is our interview with Mia Kirshner and Julie Benz, who play sisters Kenya (proprietor of the NeedWant) and Amanda Rosewater (the newly elected Mayor of Defiance)!
