NBC has several new shows in development that they plan to air later in the season – replacing early failures, or at midseason – including dramas The Firm and Awake, musical Smash, and comedies Bent, Best Friends Forever, and Are You There, Vodka? It’s Me, Chelsea. In addition, 30 Rock will be held until midseason because of Tina Fey’s maternity leave.

Say Goodbye…

…to The Cape, Chase, The Event, Law & Order: LA, Outsourced, and Perfect Couples. None of them will be returning.

Your thoughts? Any new shows look good to you? Will you miss any of the cancelled shows?
