Sons of Anarchy Season 5 debuts on Blu-ray and DVD today, and the Season 6 premiere is only two weeks away!
You may not live in Charming, but you can bring a bit of SOA flare to your look with these fashion tips from Tara Knowles Teller.
It starts with the outfit: tight jeans, a tank top, and heels. If you’re feeling especially bold, go for a lower cut top. Since it is late summer, it may be chilly in your neck of the woods, so you can add a denim or leather jacket to complete the look. It’s a simple and sexy look for day or night!
Tara has a sassy new ‘do for Season 6 (we’ll have more on that in a later post), but to get her Season 5 look, you’ll want to break out that curling iron or shape those existing curls. To get the full effect, you’ll want a shoulder-length cut with shorter layers and wispy bangs. If you don’t have your own curls, use a large barrel curling iron and then separate the curls with your fingers. You can also get that tousled half-back style by pinning the top layers and leaving a few curly pieces along the face.
Makeup should be simple with some dramatic touches. For the eyes, you’ll want some black mascara, brown shadow, and dark liner. For your lips, go for a gloss or lipstick with brown undertones. Keep the cheeks natural and skip the bronzer or blush.
To finish off this look, you’ll need the right footwear, and while a pair of pumps would do nicely, heeled boots would be perfect. Go for a boot that fits right over your jeans or an ankle bootie, and look for a style with some biker-inspired accents!
