[Warning: General spoilers ahead.]
We’re almost to the end of Slasher‘s fourth season — just Thursday’s episode six and next week’s double-episode finale to go. Tomorrow’s new episode, “Face Time,” unpacks the family dynamic after Aphra (Nataliya Rodina) joined Christy (Paula Brancati) and Seamus’s (Chris Jacot) family.
We also pick up with Florence still awaiting her fate outside while her sons are absolutely sure she’ll still be there in the morning.
The rest of the remaining Galloways slumber party in sight of one another in the living room, save Aphra, who’s wandered off. That sends Christy into a frantic tailspin, determined to find her daughter, and she eventually discovers that maybe chasing her down wasn’t the best of ideas.
Before that realization sets in, we take a walk down memory lane from the point of Aphra’s arrival with the adoption agent (Slasher regular Joanne Vannicola) through to some (seriously valid) concerns Christy tried to raise with Seamus. Once Christy’s fears are validated — but not in the way you might expect — she’s faced with a series of terrible choices, and Brancati and Rodina throw down hard.
Ian Carpenter wrote the script, directed by Adam MacDonald.
