FX has released a teaser for upcoming vampire series The Strain. It’s vague, but in its 30 odd seconds, we see an eclipse over New York City, so with zero sun, we can assume that all hell is about to break loose!

I really can’t wait to see this one in July 2014. Based on the best-selling novels by Guillermo del Toro and Chuck Hogan (who serve as exec producers alongside EP/Showrunner/Writer Carlton Cuse), vampires are about to get scary – and ugly – again. Filming right here in Toronto, the cast features Corey Stoll, Sean Astin, David Bradley, Leslie Hope and Regina King, among many others.
