At the 2015 Television Critics Association Summer Press Tour, FX announced several series pickups, renewals and premiere dates. Let’s check those out:
Better Things, starring Pamela Adlon and co-created by Louis C.K. (a.k.a. one of my fave comedy duos), has been picked up to series.
Animated comedy Cassius and Clay has been picked up to series on FXX. Supremely talented funny women Lake Bell and Kaitlin Olson lead the voice cast.
Archer is moving to FXX (a move that I’m surprised didn’t happen until now).
The Strain is getting a third season (and I remain a happy person because I love that show).
Kurt Sutter’s new drama The Bastard Executioner debuts on September 15. (Yeah, swords and badassery and accents!)
The next chapter of the AHS anthology series, American Horror Story: Hotel, premieres on October 7. (Will you be checking into this one?)
The second trip to Fargo premieres on October 12. (I’ve got my bags packed and ready to head out on that journey again.)
What do you think of FX and FXX’s upcoming programming?
