It’s Constantine Week here at The Televixen, so let’s go back to our first taste of the series: Matt Ryan’s appearance at the Global TV Upfronts in Toronto this past June!
In thie clip, he chats about the tone of the series and that it’s a fine balance between humour and darkness in this story. He also told us that the supernatural subject matter combined with John Constantine not being your typical action hero are what’s going to bring viewers in, whether or not they’re comic book fans. At this point, Angelica Celaya had not been cast as Zed, so he talks about playing against Lucy Griffiths’ character, Liv.
