[Warning: General spoilers ahead.]
The old adage about honor among thieves is tested among killers this week on Cardinal as Neil and Scott come to a head about Neil grabbing a bonus victim when he was only supposed to take Josh.
That complication amplifies the already-emotional investigation for Delorme just as it brings back a flood of memories for Scott.
The focus also shifts to Sheila as Cardinal and Delorme realize that maybe she’s more connected to things than she let on, but they still don’t have the whole story. It also becomes harder for Commanda to try to explain away her actions.
The twist this week is that we spend more time with Josh than the previous victims, watching him fight to live while the police desperately try to find him.
The situation for his dad is more precarious because not only is he kidnapped, he’s also a (not completely innocent) bystander in the increasing tensions between Neil and Scott.
Patrick Tarr and Jori Mand co-wrote the script, directed by Nathan Morlando.
