First let’s talk the big TV news of the week: the networks have announced their fall lineups! You can see each one here: ABC, CBS, the CW, FOX, and NBC.

Premiere dates:

May 23rd: The Rich and the Ruthless

June 5th: Black Mirror
June 14th: Jett

July 24th: South Side

Renewed:

This Is Us (for THREE seasons), Snowpiercer, Miracle Workers, The Last OG, Siren, The Bold Type

Cancelled:

Whiskey Cavalier, Empire (after its upcoming sixth season), Madam Secretary (after its upcoming sixth season), The Tick

Other headlines:

The showrunner and several senior writers have left BH90210. Paul Sciarrotta is taking over as showrunner.

Season seven of Brooklyn Nine-Nine will have 13 episodes.

ABC has expanded the episode order for The Conners to 19.

Wendy Straker Hauser is taking over as showrunner of The Bold Type.

Snowpiercer, which was supposed to air on TNT, is moving to TBS.

Season two of Dirty John is moving to USA Network.

Karin Gist will showrun Mixed-ish.

Edward Berger will direct the first three episodes of Your Honor.

Albert Hughes will direct Ethan Hawke Showtime limited series The Good Lord Bird.

Some pilot updates: CBS’s Surveillance is still in in contention and FOX’s Patty’s Auto may be repiloted. ABC’s NYPD Blue, Heart of Life, and Nana may be reworked, and Triangle wasn’t finished so may still be in contention later. At the CW, Glamorous might be retooled. Pretty much everything else we haven’t heard otherwise about is dead at this point.
