This week’s TV news brings us a bunch of renewals as well as casting news and a premiere date for J.K. Rowling’s new show!

Premiere dates:

Renewed:

Canceled:

Shades of Blue (after the upcoming third season), Everything Sucks, Mozart in the Jungle

Other headlines:

The CW will air Canadian legal drama Burden of Truth in the U.S. this summer.

So far as I can tell this hasn’t been confirmed by the network, but Rachel Bloom says Crazy Ex-Girlfriend will end with season four.

Ryan Murphy has scrapped the Monica Lewinsky season of American Crime Story. And History is not going forward with its Clinton impeachment drama The Breach.

Dearbhla Walsh will direct period espionage drama Jerusalem.

Kerry Ehrin will take over from Jay Carson as showrunner of Apple’s Reese Witherspoon/Jennifer Aniston series.

Sundance Now has picked up Australian drama Dead Lucky for the U.S. and Canada.
