Hallelujah! HBO picked up Aaron Sorkin’s new show to series. I honestly cannot express how excited I am about this.
Renewed: Alphas.
Canceled: Lifetime’s The Protector. But they’re working on a new casino show.
Locke & Key: Not quite dead yet.
Gigolos Season Two will premiere October 20.
Zachary Levi will direct Chuck again in Season Five.
Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi are working on a comedy for NBC.
ABC is developing a Beauty and the Beast show. Fun! Ooh, and an action-adventure drama about archaeologist-commando treasure hunters! Also a Candace Bushnell show. And some other stuff.
The guy who adapted The Office for the US is now adapting Friday Night Dinner.
A show about teen international travellers? Sure.
It looks like Nick Stoller’s pilot is headed to CBS.
Scott Foley and Rina Mimoun have a script commitment from CBS for a show about a brother and sister who make people disappear. Interesting.
Greg Berlanti has sold yet another show. I think that’s three pilots this season.
Ugh, is this going to be next season’s trend? NBC bought a show called My Best Friend Is a Lesbo. I’m sure it will be as classy and sensitive as it sounds. They also bought some sort of female buddy comedy blah blah whatever.
TNT ordered a pilot about a search-and-rescue officer and her assuredly adorable dog.
