HBO had previously renewed Luck for a second season, but now they’ve cancelled it after the third horse death while filming.

Renewed: Grimm, Austin & Ally, a whole bunch of CBS shows including Blue Bloods, NCIS, NCIS: LA, Person of Interest, The Mentalist, Criminal Minds, The Good Wife, Hawaii Five-0, CSI, 2 Broke Girls, and Mike and Molly.

FOX is pushing the rest of the unaired episodes of I Hate My Teenage Daughter, which I had forgotten was still on at all, to summer.

The History Channel has officially ordered its first scripted series. About Vikings. From the people who brought us The Tudors. It’s going to be terrible and I will watch every moment.

More development news:
Nickelodeon (for Nick at Nite) ordered comedy pilot Wendell & Vinnie starring Jerry Trainor, and also picked up Marvin, Marvin.
A series based on William Wallace? Yes, please!
I am similarly excited about evil genius tech CEOs.
Adaptations in development: Gregg Hurwitz’s Tim Rackley book series and Knifeman.
The Hallmark Channel is developing its first scripted shows.
ABC is already thinking about a pandemic for next year.

HBO has passed on Da Brick.
