Happy Sunday! Wow, it’s June already; that means the summer shows are getting started and regular season shows will be back to filming soon, so news is starting to trickle in.
Renewed: Nurse Jackie.
Catherine Tate will be a regular on The Office next season.
Private Practice news: Tim Daly has left the show, and Kate Walsh may leave after the next 13-episode season. It’s unclear whether the show would continue without her.
The Hallmark Channel is launching its first scripted series: Cedar Cove, starring Andie MacDowell as a small town judge, based on a series of books by Debbie Macomber. ReelzChannel has some interesting things coming up too, including World War II series Bomb Girls.
Showrunner news: Zack Estrin to Zero Hour; Clyde Phillips to Nurse Jackie; Wil Calhoun to Whitney.
In development:
This sort of sounds like a Mad Libs headline from this week’s buzz words, but it seems that Charlize Theron is indeed shopping an updated Hatfields and McCoys series.
