Breaking In is back from the almost-dead! That is good news for fans and does not exactly bode well for FOX’s faith in its new comedies.
Everything I like has been renewed this week! Well, not everything, but The Hour and White Collar.
Summer is almost over, so we have Syfy’s season finale dates – September 19: Eureka, September 26: Alphas, September 30: Haven, October 3: Warehouse 13.
But we have some season premiere dates to make up for it!
USA Network – October 12: Psych (9 episodes), November 1: Covert Affairs (6 episodes), November 3: Burn Notice (6 episodes).
TNT – November 27: Leverage, November 28: The Closer, January 17: Southland.
Syfy – October 7: Sanctuary.
A&E has officially picked up Longmire.
Various interesting prospective new shows were announced this week. (Remember, these are not guaranteed to make it to air.) The Rock has an eighties wrestling drama. The Supernatural creator has a Deadman adaptation. Shonda Rhimes has a drama in 1895 New York, about which I’m cautiously thrilled. ABC has a Jekyll and Hyde thing. Shawn Ryan has a futuristic thriller. TBS has a Breckin Meyer show about a magazine. The people who brought us Friday Night Lights have a female-centric Western. NBC has an Office-style show about an elementary school. Showtime has mobster demons and other stuff.
Suits has lost its showrunner.
