Caffeine – April 1st Edition

Happy April! No April Fool’s jokes here, I promise. All of the following news is true, to the best of my knowledge . . .

Premiere dates:

May 9: White Heat
June 20: Inside Men
August 19: Copper
(Sources: 1, 2)

Renewed: FOX’s Bones, BBC’s Being Human, Borgia (not to be confused with The Borgias),

Warning for GCB fans: there will be new episodes at both 9 and 10 next week, April 8.

Startling news of the week: They’re resurrecting Yes, Prime Minister.

Netflix has thought better of that Terra Nova idea. They may or may not still be considering The River. Or was it Alcatraz? I’ve lost track.

Development news:
AMC is working on an historical football drama that sounds really fascinating.
Steven Bochco and Entertainment One are working on a new sci-fi series, Evolution.
HBO is developing a series based on the novel The Madonnas of Echo Park.
An FX cop drama from Philip Seymour Hoffman? Huh. Okay.

USA Network is passing on Wild Card and Over/Under.

Eva Longoria has joined Devious Maids, but as an executive producer, not an actress.

Billy Burke has been recast and is now the lead in the pilot formerly known as Revolution.

Michelle Borth has been promoted to series regular on Hawaii Five-0.

Charlie Sheen claims that his dad will play his dad on his new show at some point, but this looks far from official.
