Caffeine – April 15th Edition

Good morning! It seems like we’re finally in a bit of a news lull, but don’t worry: upfronts are next month.

FOX has pulled Breaking In again. Sad.

July 2: Web Therapy
August 17: Boss
(Sources: 1, 2)

Development news:
HBO is developing a show based on Phillip Kerr’s Bernie Gunther detective novels set in 1930s Germany. Trust me, this is good news. These books are great.

ReelzChannel has acquired its second original series, XIII, about a secret operative whose memory has been erased.
A cop drama starring Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson, directed by the director of Jane Eyre? I am intrigued.

AMC is working on comic-based Thief of Thieves from the producers of The Walking Dead.
Vince Vaughn is producing an S&M series for FX. I don’t even know what to say about that, so I’ll just leave it there.
