The more I hear about Lifetime‘s Witches of East End, the more excited I am to finally see it. And now, an actor that I think is pretty rad has joined the cast – Anthony Lemke.
In case you haven’t heard about it yet, here’s the official synopsis of the series, which is based on the books by Melissa de la Cruz:
The new Lifetime drama centers on Joanna Beauchamp (Julia Ormond) and her two adult daughters Freya (American Horror Story‘s Jenna Dewan Tatum) and Ingrid (American Dreams’ Rachel Boston), both of whom unknowingly are their family’s next generation of witches.
Lemke will be playing a recurring character, Harrison Welles, “An intriguing devilish lawyer whose ongoing relationship with Joanna has more history than it seems.”
He was fantastic as Ryan on Lost Girl (and one of my fave characters to ever set foot on the series). And seeing that he’s played a loki, I’m sure he’ll bring some devious charm to this role. His impressive resume includes work on and off screen, and he’s played roles on Warehouse 13, The Listener, and Flashpoint. He also stars in CBC’s fall film Still Life.
The series is currently filming in Vancouver and is set to premiere in October.
