While the Netflix spotlight is on all things Daredevil today, in just under a month their next original series will be released — the Jane Fonda / Lily Tomlin comedy Grace and Frankie. Netflix released a trailer and key art for Grace and Frankie, and we have that here for you to check out!
From executive producers Marta Kauffman (Friends) and Howard J. Morris (Home Improvement), Grace and Frankie is about two women, Grace (Jane Fonda) and Frankie (Lily Tomlin), “whose lives are suddenly turned upside down when their husbands reveal they are gay and leave them for each other.” The series also stars Martin Sheen, Sam Waterston, Brooklyn Decker, Ethan Embry, Baron Vaughn and June Diane Raphael.
9 to 5 was one of those films that I couldn’t get enough of in my younger days, so I’m really excited to see Fonda and Tomlin together again, and still holding out that Dolly Parton may make a cameo! Also, June Diane Raphael is a comedic powerhouse.
Grace and Frankie premieres on Friday, May 8 exclusively on Netflix.
