We may have said farewell to Jackie and Tara last week (Jackie until next year, and Tara for good), but Showtime’s making sure that Mondays still belong to the ladies. Tonight, Nancy Botwin and Cathy Jamison make their return for the summer with the season premieres of Weeds and The Big C.

Catch the Season 7 Premiere of Weeds tonight at 10, and the Season 2 Premiere of The Big C at 10:30, both on Showtime. For Canadian viewers, Weeds begins on July 6th at 10pm on Showcase, and The Big C starts on July 11th at 9:30pm on Super Channel.

While many TV watchers are counting down the days until the fall season, I can barely contain my excitement for the upcoming summer TV season!

I thought I’d start by sharing some clips of two of my favourite shows that ended their last seasons with intriguing cliffhangers – both of these will be keeping me glued to the flat panel over the next few months!
