Tonight marked the return of Nurse Jackie on Showtime, and this tweet from Peter Facinelli (@peterfacinelli) pimping the new season cracked me right up:

Get it? Because his two best-known characters are doctors … one a sparkling bloodsucker, the other a bumbling boob fondler! (Hey, it made me laugh.)

For those who don’t want to admit that Season 2 of Vampire Diaries is nearing its end (*TEAR*), here’s a reality check from exec producer Julie Plec (@julieplec):

@julieplec By the end of this week the S2 TVD finale will be written. By this time next month, I shall be in Vegas having a belated nervous breakdown.

Here’s hoping it’s more of a let-loose Vegas vacation than a breakdown, Julie! Much deserved after all of the amazing work this year on Vampire Diaries.
