It’s official — following just one episode, Outlander has been picked up by Starz for a second season!
This news isn’t all that surprising, considering the series premiere has been viewed more than five million times in the first week, setting multiplatform viewing records, and causing a frenzy on social media with both critics and fans.
Season 2 will be based on the book Dragonfly in Amber, and will be at least 13 episodes.
Episode 2, “Castle Leoch,” is set to air this Saturday at 9pm ET/PT on Starz.
