As we prepare for the midseason finale of Outlander this Saturday, Starz has announced the second half of the season will begin on Saturday, April 4, 2015.
The news was immediately met with some frustration from fans who think six months is far too long to wait for more, but I have to say I’m content to wait. I understand how much goes into creating a series of this magnitude, and filming just wrapped on Season 1 this week. That doesn’t mean I won’t miss Jamie, Claire and Company until they return in the spring, but if this is what it takes to deliver the same quality that we’ve become accustomed to in the first half of the season, I have all the patience in the world!
(I’m also curious to know if Canada will continue to be on a two week delay when the second half of the season resumes. Maybe it’s the perfect opportunity to get on the same page!)
