Motive has another guest-tastic episode this week with Matt Bellefleur and Stephanie Bennett from The Romeo Section, one of my longtime favorites, Kett Turton, and Anjali Jay, a familiar face from Continuum‘s final season.
It’s an intriguing outing as the killer would seem to maybe be the orchestrator of the actual crime but it’s so much more complicated than that. The victim is a young roller derby player who’s brutally murdered and the accused is a man who stalked her, until it taps an old case for Paula and the case expands. No real personal focus this week, but there are a few questions that are sidestepped in terms of a response, so I think those will come back around.
Motive airs Tuesdays at 10/9c on CTV in Canada. As a reminder, Season 3 is also airing in the U.S. on USA Network every Friday at 10/9c. Here’s a sneak peek of “The Scorpion and the Frog.”
