Motive Preview: “Remains to Be Seen”

[Warning: General spoilers ahead.]

Y’all know I have my favorites, and Max Martini is a favorite from way, way back to Harsh Realm. He pops into Motive this week alongside OUaT‘s Keegan Connor Tracy and Big Love and Vinyl‘s Douglas Smith in a murder mystery set against the backdrop of gaming and government corruption.

It’s a surprisingly emotional episode, and I’m so glad someone in casting saw Martini this way. Tracy is also a favorite, and I was sort of goofy nerdy about it when I realized (pretty sure, anyway) that this is the first time she and Martini have worked together, which seems impossible.

At the station, look for Angie to deal with a complicated morning after when Stoker (Sons of Anarchy‘s Tommy Flanagan) stays on as the liaison and Betty to prep for her testimony in her assault case, without Lucas’s phantom witness.

Motive airs at 10/9c Tuesdays on CTV. Season 4 is also running in the U.S. (a few episodes behind the CTV cycle) on at 10/9c on USA.
