Marvel’s Jessica Jones Goes to Work Indeed!
The latest vignette chronicling the day in the life of our bad ass babe of Hell’s Kitchen brings us to 11:57. Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) is out on the streets, and takes a super powered short cut up to her office at Alias Investigations.
If whatever it was Jessica was doing in that bar wasn’t getting to work, we’ve gotta know what’s going to happen after she took a casual leap up to her fifth story office. I guess even a super powered PI has to deal with paperwork. Each vignette has built on the next — from the empty whiskey bottle on the floor and the super smashed alarm clock at 2:59pm, leading to more whiskey and a barroom floor covered in demolished dudes at 7:54, to this midnight stroll to the office. This just leads us to ask: what’s next?
This is also the closest live action footage we’ve seen to the animated trailer that came with the release date announcement.
If you’re keen to get started early, Marvel has released a digital Jessica Jones prequel comic – and for free! This comic reunites the creative team behind Alias (the inspiration for this show), Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Gaydos.
And a little synopsis of the upcoming Netflix series:
After a tragic ending to her short-lived Super Hero stint, Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) is rebuilding her personal life and career as a detective who gets pulled into cases in New York City.
Can it please be November 20th already?
