We’ve known for a while that Marvel’s Jessica Jones is coming, but now we have a date! Alert the countdown clock creators, all 13-hours drop on Netflix on November 20th at 12:01PT!
Americans can tuck into their Thanksgiving Weekends with a fresh dose of Marvel goodness to binge on and here in Canada, maybe we’re all coming down with a collective case of the flu and should probably stay home that day to uh … get some rest.
Netflix released a video to announce the date (below). It feels similar to an opening credits sequence rather than a teaser or trailer — giving a general vibe of the series without disclosing much of anything that actually takes place in the show.
After a tragic ending to her short-lived Super Hero stint, Jessica Jones is rebuilding her personal life and career as a detective who gets pulled into cases in New York City.
Krysten Ritter (Jessica Jones) is joined by an amazing cast including David Tennant (Kilgrave), Mike Colter (Luke Cage), Rachael Taylor (Trish Walker), Carrie-Anne Moss, Eka Darville, Erin Moriarty, and Wil Traval, among others.
Marvel’s Jessica Jones on Netflix is Executive Produced by series Showrunner Melissa Rosenberg (“Twilight”, “Dexter”) and Liz Friedman (“Elementary”), along with Jeph Loeb (“Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” “Smallville,” “Heroes”), who also serves as Marvel’s Head of Television.
