7:45 Best Actress in a comedy goes to Wendel Meldrum for Less Than Kind. Her character was so fantastic on that series.

8:08 Comedy winners Gerry Dee and Wendel Meldrum are in the press room chatting with the media and Laura Vandervoort is on stage presenting Best Documentary with James Cromwell. The energy in here is amazing – so much excitement and love the huge smiles on the winners’ faces!

8:21 Meg Tilly has won for Bomb Girls! Resisting the urge to jump up and down and cheer. She is such a gem and her performance on the series is phenomenal!

8:23 Allan Hawco is now on stage presenting for Best Director Film – and he’s in a smashing striped suit!

8:33 Sons of Anarchy‘s Kim Coates just presented the Best Actor in a Drama to Enrico Colantoni for Flashpoint! Talk about fandoms colliding … how many of my friends out there are as thrilled as I am right now?!?

8:47 Meg Tilly is now presenting along with Rick Mercer. Hopefully she’ll be down here to chat with the press shortly afterward.
