Caffeine – TV News – October 1st Edition

This week’s TV news brings us a bunch of new shows in development – and our first full-season pickup of the new fall crop!

Jeremy Renner’s History Channel drama Knightfall will premiere on December 6th.

The first new show to get picked up for a full season: Young Sheldon.

Marlon has been renewed by NBC.

The Mist has been canceled after one season.

Game of Thrones has set its final season directors.

Amazon Prime has acquired German gangster drama 4 Blocks for the U.S. and Canada, among other countries. And they’re looking at French-German comedy Germanized as well.

Hulu has acquired British dramedy GameFace for the U.S.
