I am super excited to announce that I’ll be joining forces with the This Week in Geek (TWiG) podcast empire on their newest show, TV Therapy!
So what exactly is TV Therapy?
It’s a show that will feature yours truly and Steve “Snowball” Saylor where each month, we’ll select a TV series, watch one season of it, and then discuss it at length! The best part is – we want YOU involved in it! And who doesn’t love some audience participation? You will help us decide what to watch, follow along as we watch it, and share your thoughts which will be incorporated into the show!
How can you get involved?
There are three ways you can take part in a little TV Therapy:
1) Vote on a series – Each month we’ll select four potential TV series to watch. You’ll vote on which one you’d like to watch and the one with the most votes will be that month’s series!
2) Watch with us – Once a series has been selected, we’ll let you know how you can watch it along with us, and then join in the conversation as we discuss the plot, characters, story arcs and so much more!
3) Let us know what’s on your mind – Whether you love it or hate it, we want to know what you think of the series we’re watching! You’ll be able to share your thoughts via voicemail, email, comments, Facebook messages, Twitter, or carrier pigeon (OK, most of you probably don’t have carrier pigeons.) And if you’re in the Toronto area, you might even have the chance to join us as part of our LIVE STUDIO AUDIENCE!
We’re aiming to celebrate our debut during the first half of October, and last, but not least, here are the first four series that you can choose from:
Six Feet Under – Season 1
Primeval – Season 1
Torchwood – Season 1
Twin Peaks – Season 1
You can let us know which one you’d like us to select by commenting below or Tweeting us with the hashtag #TVTherapy – and the series with the most votes will be in the spotlight for our inaugural show!
Get your votes in now and prepare to join us for some TV Therapy next month!
