Parting is such sweet sorrow, especially when it comes to saying farewell to CTV’s hit series, Flashpoint. The Canadian series, much loved by fans all over the world, begins its fifth and final season with tonight’s episode, “Broken Peace”. We have a special little treat for Flashpoint fans – a very brief video from a press panel they did this past spring to help you get warmed up for this evening’s excitement!
The clip features Hugh Dillon, Enrico Colantoni, Sergio Di Zio and Amy Jo Johnson – oh, and David Paetkau was hiding in the back. They shared some thoughts on this final season, which Dillon refers to as “explosive”, and reflect on the experience of being part of this series. Prepare to laugh – the Dillon/Colantoni chemistry is crazy entertaining!

It is sad to see such a wonderful show come to a close, but it is understandable how the producers decided to do this. About the clip, it seemed the mics weren’t on and therefore, extremely hard to hear what was being said. One thing I found fascinating is that Mr. Di Zio appears to wearing the bracelets which were distributed after the character Lewis Young died. That is great to see.
