Introducing … Anywhere but Here or There – TV Edition!

Have you ever played that game “Anywhere but Here”? It’s when you imagine yourself to be anywhere else in the world, with anyone you want, rather than the place that you currently find yourself stuck in. The Scoobies are shown playing it in Season 2 of Buffy the Vampire Slayer when Xander gives his standard, “unfickle” response: “Amy Yip at the waterslide park.”

I decided that it would be fun to play “Anywhere but Here” as I was watching television, so each week I will be keeping track of some of the places that I’d like to be (“Here”) and some of the places that I would want to be anywhere else but (“There”) and posting them here at TheTelevixen.com!

So without further introduction, here are my choices for Anywhere but Here or There – TV Edition for the week of September 17th, 2012:

HERE
Rooming with wise and gentle Kurt in Glee’s NYC.

THERE
In Grace Devlin’s bloodied shoes on Mob Doctor.

HERE
Keeping Rory company in “real” life as Amy time travels with the Doctor on Doctor Who.

THERE
In therapy with Ryan King and his band of loveable losers from Go On.

THERE
On that icy rooftop with Flashpoint’s Team One. (Not gonna lie though, I’d like to be stuck in a small tactical room with Spike any day!)

THERE
The post-electricity world of Revolution.

THERE
Watching Revolution every week!

HERE
Seat filler at the 65th Emmy Awards.

THERE
Working on Modern Family with the amount of backlash they’ve been receiving after the Emmys.

Oh and by the way, in case you were wondering, my standard answer when playing “Anywhere but Here” will always be: “Nathan Fillion walking the streets of Paris.”
