I know, hiatus sucks. But hopefully this little podcast will help alleviate your Vampire Diaries withdrawal.
In this episode of the TVD Podcast, “Frankly My Dear”, I’m joined by Lucia (Heroine TV), Lee (From My Side of the Moon), and newcomer Kate (who you may know for her work on this site, as well as her blog, Kat With A K) to talk about “The Descent”.
We should have a few more podcasts for you before Vampire Diaries returns with new episodes in April!

Hi Ladies,
I love TVD and I like finding podcasts done by passionate & articulate women. But I have to say that sometimes your podcasts are so hard to understand because you don’t listen to each other, someone belabours a point so that it is not interesting, or there are just too many people on each podcast. I am sad to say that this latest podcast I had to stop listening to it within 20 minutes because of all of these points.
I hope you take my comments in the positive light that I make them.
Thank you for your feedback, Idris. Yes, we are aware that at times this does happen, and although we try our best not to talk over one another, not being in the same room (in fact, we are thousands of miles apart) and being able to pick up on visual cues is an ongoing challenge. We will continue to try our best for this not to happen.
Don’t worry, I love it when you guys get really passionate about your individual causes!:)
Ok, Damon is and has always been my favorite character, but with everything that has been going on (Klaus, Elijah, Katherine, curse, werewolves) you’d think that Damon would be level-headed enough to realize that now is not the right time to have an emotional meltdown. Now don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed every bit of the drama and heartbreak in this episode, but after watching it a few more times, I started to change my mind. I don’t know if it’s Damon’s character or the danger of the current situation, but the whole Stefan/Elena/Damon triangle doesn’t seem as interesting as it once was in season 1. The freakin’ TVD version of Dracula is getting ready to rip through Mystic Falls, and Damon, our most dangerous and mischievous vampire, is having a mental breakdown! I hope Damon gets his act together before Klaus and the rest of the Originals come to town, because Klaus will immediately sense his weakness and will eat him alive.
And I also don’t like making excuses or justifications for Damon’s bad behavior. I love Damon because his so obviously screwed up. I like that he is both good and evil. But when I hear some of his fans blindly defend him, it kind of takes the cool/danger factor out of Damon’s character. Damon is our resident psychopath, just enjoy the ride and accept him for what his is: Screwed up.
I love you girls! Post more podcasts! You have no idea how happy I was when I came across this podcast today! Peace, love and entrails!
