It’s time for another Vampire Diaries podcast! What a way to start the week and beat the Monday blahs.
In this episode, Vee (Vampire-Diaries.net), Lucia (Heroine TV), Lee (From My Side of the Moon) and I chat about “Memory Lane”. We’re missing Connie (Blast Magazine) once again, but she’ll be back for the next one.
What were your thoughts on “Memory Lane”? Are the inconsistencies in the flashbacks we’ve seen so far intentional? What were Katherine’s motives in allowing Stefan to think he was keeping her prisoner? And what other surprises, besides an immunity to vervain, does Katherine have up her sleeve?

Loved the podcast!
I agree, I think Damon has been missing his”spark”, so to speak this season. I have no objections to a more “nice” Damon, but he can’t become an entirely different character. He needs to torture somebody or something.
Also, looking forward to Katherine’s flashback, minus the Salvatores. Who is she running from? Crazy theory: What if Katherine and Elena are linked in some way, and are supposed to accomplish something important, sacrifice a part of their life? Because I get the feeling that Katherine was chosen (or maybe the Pierces)by her maker(I personnaly think that’s the big bad) and Elena is the result of a curse or something. (I don’t know, there has been a lot of talk about curses this season)
I am just babbling now!lol but I do think Katherine’s maker is the big bad who controls the whole game.
Plus, JENNA IS THE WORST PARENT/GUARDIAN EVER BUT I LOVE HER FOR IT!! LOVE TIPSY JENNA!! ALARIC DOESN’T SEEM TO MIND….lol
Very interesting discussion. Although, it surprised me so much that NONE of you even suspected that Mason was working with Katherine. That was the first thing that occured to me when Mason seemed to know a lot about Stefan and Damon. I also saw this speculation around on the net from day 1. So I’m surprised none of you picked up on that.
Thanks for the feedback, Amanda. I think you missed the part where I was hinting that I thought Mason and Katherine were working together? I thought so the minute his casting was announced, before Season 2. It’s the part where I talk about not believing in coincidences. I was trying to be vague because I was pretty sure I was right and wanted people to connect their own dots instead of “calling it” (so to speak.)
Thank you for listening and commenting, Amanda. Glad you enjoyed it.
I must concur with Vee, though. Let me paraphrase the excerpt, if I may – Vee: “There is no way it is a coincidence that Katherine and Mason have both showed up in town at the same time *etc, etc, etc*…*”
