At last (insert fanfare here) – we have a long overdue Vampire Diaries podcast for all of you to sink your teeth into!
In this episode, we discuss “Bad Moon Rising” and all of its deliciousness!
I was joined by Vee from Vampire-Diaries.net, Lucia from Heroine TV, and Lee of From My Side of the Moon for this episode. Connie from Blast Magazine wasn’t able to join us because she was out of the country, but we’ll have her back soon!
What did you think of “Bad Moon Rising”? Is anyone else as fed up with Bonnie as some of us are? What do you think of the route they’ve taken with the werewolf lore? And could you handle Elena’s truth in her reaction to Damon’s confession? Sound off below!

Love all the podcasts! They both make me laugh and get me thinking.
This podcast, I liked what Lee (? I think it was her) said about Elena needing to find out what Damon had been through in the 24 hours before he snapped Jeremy’s neck. During that bedroom scene in “The Return”, Elena asked Damon what was wrong with him, but she never got an answer. I think knowing the answer to that question would certainly add some perspective, though it wouldn’t necessarily make everything okay. I assume Katherine would be the one to tell her since Damon would appear self-serving and has too much pride to revisit what was probably the most insufferable day of his existence. I can imagine a scenario in which Katherine, while having a tete-a-tete with Elena, gives her the lowdown on the brothers and mocks Damon’s “innocence” and vulnerability. I think this information could have a special impact if it came after Damon had already spent a considerable amount of time being penitent.
I also have a wish for Elena to know about the conversation that Damon had with Jeremy at the end of “Founder’s Day”. More than anyone, I think Damon understood Jeremy’s desire to turn, and I think it gave him just enough self-justification to follow his impulse. In that moment, Damon was probably able to tell himself that he was doing Jeremy a favor. That conversation, however, had nothing to do with Elena, so I doubt she will ever hear about it.
I don’t think having all the facts could ever erase the magnitude of Damon’s sin, but it’s unfortunate that there was so much context to that scene that Elena might never know about.
Anyway, I really love hearing your opinions. I never get tired of TVD discussion, and you’re almost as entertaining as the show. Keep up the good work.
P.S. Re: “Plan B” Can Paul Wesley cry or what?
Thank you, Rae!
